Welcome to HISTO2026
For the first time in our community history, I am proud to welcome you to Perth, Western Australia, for the Australasian Association of Histology and Histotechnology 11th National Conference.
The event will be held on the weekend of Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026 at the University Club of Western Australia which is positioned on one of the world's most beautiful university campuses overlooking Matilda Bay.
The conference theme is 'Stories in every section' and will include heartfelt presentations to remind us of the patients and their families who benefit from the careful and meticulous efforts of our industry workers. Over the three days delegates will experience workshops, keynote & plenary addresses, panel discussions and abstract presentations.
The conference will allow for opportunities to connect with pathologists, researchers and healthcare professionals from across Australasia to exchange knowledge, cutting edge research and innovations. Modern equipment and consumables will also be showcased by trade sponsors and a range of social activities to indulge in what Perth has to offer.
